My name is Paul Swiderski, and I want to be your representative for the 10th Congressional District.
I am running to represent YOU in Washington, DC. Most of our elected officials don't represent anyone except their own interests. This solves none of the problems we have here in northeastern Pennsylvania, elsewhere in the U.S. and overseas. Politics as usual isn't working and needs to stop. The only way we are going to send this message to Washington is to begin electing into office individuals who truly care about the people they are supposed to represent and who are serious about making changes.
Thomas Jefferson believed that normal, everyday people should be representing normal, everyday people in Congress. I am neither a millionaire, corporate executive with a six-figure salary, nor an experienced politician. I am merely a small business owner in NEPA who has the same concerns as most of the people in the district. The need for affordable quality health insurance, lower gas prices and home heating costs, lower taxes, and accountability in government top the list of concerns.
My platform is to: restore the power of government back to its people; realign the federal government according to the original meaning of the Constitution; protect traditional values; and fight for the rights of the American entrepreneur, the small business owners who made this country the backbone of the United states of America, to operate in a free enterprise system.
As a well-respected small business owner, I earned a reputation as someone who's a straight-shooter, honest and trustworthy. I also am known as someone who says what he does and as someone who cares about the people of northeastern Pennsylvania. As your next representative, I can assure you that this reputation will never change.
